Thiruvananthapuram : The Northeast Monsoon has been active over Kerala with heavy rainfall in many places in the state.
The local MET Office here said very light rain occurred in Lakshadweep.
Kottayam and Piravom received heavy rainfall of seven cm each.
While Manjeri got six cm of rains, Mancompu and Thodupuzha received five cm of rains each. Thiruvalla recorded a rainfall of four cm, the Met Office said.
Alappuzha, Haripad, Kochi Airport, Punalur, Vellanikkara, Vadakkancherry, Idukki, Mannarkad and Ottappalam received three cm of rains each, it added.
The MET office said rain or thundershower was likley at many places in Kerala and at isolated places in Lakshadweep.
