Man kills wife, dumps body in waste pile

Thrissur: A man killed his wife and dumped the body in waste pile. The incident came to light when the body was recovered from waste after a week. Police booked the husband and registered a case against him. The body was found on Monday morning near the shrubs on the Thalor-Mannuthia roadside. The deceased has been identified as Asha, 25, from Hunsoor Police said Asha's husband Vijeesh is behind the crime. Police booked him from Hunsoor. Asha and Vijeesh were plastic flower vendors. They reached Marathakara two months back and was residing there for rent.

Vijeesh left to his native place along with his kids after the murder. When her relatives enquired about Asha, he informed them that Asha was not well. Asha's relatives came to know the same, when some people, who were also engaged in flower selling, informed them.
