    Sabarimala: 400 more buses to carry services

    Sabarimala: Transport Minister Jose Thettayil said that 400 more buses would be added to the service during Mandala-Makaravilakku festivals. Among the 400, 100 would be used for chain services in Chalakkayam-Pampa road. Buses to Pampa would be arranged in relation to train timings from Chenganoor. A temperory rest room is under construction for pilgrims at Pathanamthitta. Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation is also carrying out 50 more bus services. Minister also informed that the transport corporation in Andhra also expressed their willingness to carry 1000 trips. A new online reservation counter will be opened at Chenganoor apart from the other 12 counters in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottarakkara, Kottayam, Ernakulum, Munnar, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Kannur, Bangalore and Coimbatore. Online reservation can be done through the website www.keralaartc.com.
