    Opposition welcomes CM's stand against lottery mafia

    Thiruvananthapuram : Opposition Leader in Kerala Assembly Oomman Chandy today welcomed Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan's demand for a CBI inquiry into the financial sources of the lottery mafia. Talking to reporters here, he said Mr Achuthanandan's stand against the lottery mafia only proved that the Opposition was right with regard to the lottery issue.

    He was reacting to a question regarding Mr Achuthanandan's letter to the Centre asking for a CBI inquiry into the financial sources of the lottery mafias.
