Needle of suspicion points at PSC exams too

Alappuzha: After the job recruitment scam in Wayanad collectorate came to light, the needle of suspicion is pointing toward the PSC examinations too. The latest information is that a racket is functioning centering Kollam which help the candidates to win examinations. There were allegations that they have helped candidates in the recently held PSC exams. During the examination to Police general executive session SI on October 12, some candidates got the question paper with broken seal and that became a row when the candidates sought to boycott the examination. Some others consoled them saying that matter would be solved. With the new incident there is growing suspicion over malpractices during exams. PSC controller B Krishnachandran at that time stated that there were no malpractices in the examination. But a telephone tape which was disclosed recently points towards some suspicion. In the telephone tape, the conversation between Sibi from Kollam and candidate from Alappuzha details about the ways to pass PSC exams.

In the telephone conversation recorded four months back, Sibi introduces him as a person who gained job though PSC exam in tele communication section of Police. The middle men would provide the candidate with a mobile sim, when the candidate gives him the details of school in which the examination is to be written and register number along with Rs 50,000. The candidate would be given right answers through mobile. The middle men would train them on how to keep mobile close to their body in vibration mode. The condition is to give Rs 2 lakh when the candidate comes in the list. For this check would be given in advance.
