Thiruvananthapuram : The 16th session of the Kerala Assembly would begin from December 21, Speaker K Radhakrishnan said.
Addressing a press conference, the eight-day long brief year-end session of the 12th Kerala Assembly would discuss on passing of various bills, he said.
''The session would end on December 30. Businesses before the House include replacement of several Ordinances and consideration of new and urgent legislation,'' Mr Radhakrishnan added.
To a question on the Health Minister, Ms P K Sreemathy's comment that many legislators attend the Assembly in inebriated condition, the Speaker said he would examine on which circumstance she made the comment.
Saying that he will hold talks with the Health Minister, the Speaker said she should not have made the statement as he have not noticed legislators coming to the House drunk.
Meanwhile, Ms Sreemathy withdrew the statement yesterday stating that it was due to her misunderstanding on the issue
