    Autos, trucks banned in Sabarimala

    Sabarimala: The Motor Vehicle Department has put a total ban on the use of autorickshaw, trucks and other goods vehicles by Sabarimala pilgrims for transportation. According to a press release here today, strict action, including cancellation of licence, will be taken against violation of the ban order.

    The order was issued in view of of increasing accident rates in the hill forest area.
