Vidya gets Rs 2 lakh to built house

Mundoor: The Scheduled Caste Scheduled Tribe Development Department granted Rs 2 lakh to K K Vidya to build a house. Vidya had secured double gold in the recently held National School Meet. Minister A K Balan announced this during the public reception organised to felicitate the winners in Mundoor. The minister made the announcement after hearing the plight of Vidhya's family. Apart from this, the government will also provide cash prizes for the winners. Gold, silver and bronze medalists would get Rs 25,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 15,000 respectively.
