Palakkad: Police on Monday collected evidence from higher officials of Malabar Cements as part of investigations into the death of company's former company secretary Saseendran and his two children. Police also took some of the documents for examination.
Meanwhile, V M Radhakrishnan, who is alleged to have been involved in the case, has fled to Tamil Nadu and is said to be under the protection of his business partner in Pollachi. Radhakrishnan and an official in MC, P Suryanarayanan, has moved the court for anticipatory bail.
Demands were raised to arrest Radhakrishnan when the family alleged his role in the death of Saseendran. It is learnt that as per legal advice they have approached for bail.
Police also recorded statements from Saseendran's neighbours. The forensic results of the things collected from Saseendran's house would be out within two days Police said it is only after scientific evaluation that the cause of death can be ascertained.
