One person died and another one sustained injuries when a portion of a building, which was being demolished, came down at Palarivattom.
The incident took place at near Pipeline junction at Palarivattom at around 10 a.m. Construction activities and demolition of an existing building was progressing at the site when the accident took place.
The deceased was identified as Chakramdar of Orissa. Krishnamurthy, a native of Tamil Nadu, who sustained injuries, was admitted to a hospital.
