Kerala foot ball team not playing in National games

Kasargod: In this year's national games the foot ball team form Kerala won't participate. In this year's national football games to be held in Ranchi form February 12, the men-women squad did not find any place. The team which came till the eight position of Santhosh Trophy would be allowed to participate in national games. Kerala lost its chance as it failed the match against Mizoram in the Santhosh Trophy pre quarter. The women team also lost chance in the same fashion. The damage caused to the Kerala team's performance paved way to for such a fate.. In the Santhosh trophy match, Kerala which scored 3-1 against Utharakhand, 10-0 against Himachal and 5-2 against Assam failed unexpectedly against Mizoram. Kerala's neighbors Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are playing in national football other than the Santosh trophy winners Bengal, runners up Punjab, Goa, Delhi, Mizoram, and Jharkhand.
Once Kerala and Goa shared the first and second place respectively in Indian foot ball.
