    Kerala to go to polls on April 13

    The Election Commission Tuesday announced that the elections to assemblies in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, Assam and West Bengal will be held in April and May.

    Kerala will go to polls on April 13. While state elections in Assam has been scheduled for April 4 and 11 Tamil Nadu will go on polls on April 19.

    The polls for West Bengal will be held in six phases from April 18 onwards.

    Counting of votes in all states on 13 May - Friday
