Goonda gang member hacked to death

Palakkad: A goonda gang member, who is an accused in many criminal cases, was hacked to death here on Thursday. The deceased is Alex John, 33, son of Johny from Palayapetta.Alex was attacked by a group with swords at Palayapetta near Palakkad while walking with his friends on the road. Though he was rushed to a district hospital his life could not be saved.

Police said Alex belonged to a goonda gang led by Yogesh, who was killed in August 2009 near Kalmandapam. Alex was included in the goonda list one and half years back. Alex had a clash with some persons on Thursday evening.
