Man dies after being hit by tipper lorry in Thamarassery
Thamarassery: A man was killed when a tipper lorry hit him on the Koyilandi-Edavanna state highway. The deceased is Muhammadali Hajji, 54, from Koodathayi. Agitated natives set the tipper lorry on fire.After hitting the man, the lorry stopped after travelling half km and the driver and other employees fled from the bus. The incident occurred at around 7.15 am when Muhammadali Haji was returning from the nearby mosque. Haji who was walking along the roadside was hit by the lorry and he died on the spot. Salmabeevi is his wife and Sabana daughter.
