Thenjipalam: Calicut university senate member, Professor in Commerce department and former head, Dr VK Janardhanan, 54, died after collapsing at a function. Dr Janardhanan was presiding at the second session of a seminar on its concluding day, which was organized by the commerce department in Seminar complex. He felt uneasy during the function and was rushed to a hospital. He died on way to hospital.
He is presently the placement cell director of the university too. Janardhanan is the son of late Krishnankutty Keralassery and Panchaliamma. Mini is his wife and Anakha Raghunandan is his child.
