Ooty Flower Show to begin from May 20
Coimbatore: The 115th edition of the popular flower show in nearby Ooty in Nilgiris district, will kick start from May 20, Horticultural Department sources said.The annual show, where more than 10,000 types of flowers of different species would be displayed for three days, attracts lakhs of visitors, including tourists from foreign countries.The Rose Show, another major attraction during the summer season, would be held on May 7 and 8 at Rose Gardens in Ooty, the sources added.
Similarly, the two-day flower show in Coonoor would be held at Sims Park from May 28, they said.
