“It could have been better,” was his cryptic reply when journalists sought his views on the sidelines of a function held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan to present Padma awards on Thursday evening.
The session, which began on February 21, turned out to be tumultuous with the Opposition making concerted attempts to corner the government on a host of issues, including the 2G spectrum scam, the controversy over the ISRO-Devas deal, and the publication by The Hindu of WikiLeaks documents on the cash-for-votes issue.
