    VP Janardhanan passes away

    Vadakkancherry: Former vibhagh pracharak of RSS and Viswa Hindu Parishath state organizations Samyojak V P Janardhanan, 83, passed away here on Thursday.Janardhanan is the son of Vadakkethara Gopalan Nair and Ammukutty Amma. After being attracted to the ideologies of Vivekananda he became an RSS activist. He was jailed many times.

    After withdrawing from Sangh activities in 1981 he became secretary of Sree Ramakrishna Mission. After the Nilakkal protests were over, for the last 25 years he has been working as organizer of Hind Navothanpradisthan and samyojak of Bhagavatha Thathvasameeksha Sathra Samithi. He was residing in Vyasa tapovan for the last 28 years.
