Thiruvananthapuram: BJP Kerala unit President V Muraleedharan said NDA candidate Advocate P K Majeed will be contesting from Malampuzha constituency where Kerala Chief Minister and CPI(M) candidate V S Achuthanandan is contesting for the April 13 Assembly elections.Talking to newspersons here, he said candidate of Janata Dal-United (JD-U), one of the constituents of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), is contesting from Malampuzha.
On the allegations by KPCC Chief Ramesh Chennithala and Leader of Opposition Oomen Chandy that the BJP had not fielded its candidate as part of an electoral understanding with CPI(M), he said NDA candidate, who is also a national executive memebr of JD-U, is contesting from there.
Congress was trying to create confusion among voters by propagating baseless allegations, he added.
