Thiruvananthapuram : Condemning the military action launched by the NATO forces against Libya, the CPI today demanded that India should object it.'We condemn it. India should also raise its voice against such an aggression,' CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan said while participating in 'Janavidhi 2011', a meet-the-press programme organised by Kesari Memorial Journalists Trust.
Stating that outside intervention in a country was not good and would spoil the game, he said demonstrations and revolutions within a country should be left to themselves.
Mr Bardhan also saw that the military action was an attempt to capture the oil reserves of Libya.
'The NATO forces, with the help of the US, is intervening to stop the killing of civilians. But the fact is that more civilians have been killed,' he said.
