The court ordered the same while considering the petition field by five persons, including Thirumala Devaswom managing head Jayaprakash Prabhu. The petitioners complained that Swami had absconded with the precious idols and even though a direction was given to surrender the items, it was not done. PK Babu informed the court that the police had been searching him for the last two months and no clues were found.

The Swami came to Dwaraka Kalamandir three months back and he had idols under his possession. Swami who is in silent fasting for the last five years, had never disclosed about his location. Police report stated that there was a attack against him in 2002 and after that his travel information is not publicized.

In 2000, Kasi Matathipathi Swami SudeendraTheerha had removed Swami Raghavendra from the post of Sanyasashiksha. The court also ordered to give back the idols at the time. Police stated that Swami is not willing to give back the same.
