Nine collapsed to death during polling, two in accident

Alappuzha: Nine people including policeman were died after collapsing in during polling. Two also died in accident. Among the dead three are from Alappuzha . Those who killed in accident are Rajeevan Nair, 50, Shiju, s8, son of Chandran from Kannur. Shiju died when he was going to the polling booth in bike with sister in law. Rajeevn died when he was returning after casting the vote in cycle. G Harikumar, senior civil police officer of Kadakkal station, Kollam died after collapsing. Others were Renjith, 32, Kozhikode, Nabeesa, 75, from Ponnani, Gomathi, 80, from Kayamkulam, Lakshmi, 68, from Alappuzha, Narayanan, 70, from Ernakulam, Rabiyath, 70, from New Mahe, T Kannan, 70 from Kasargod and Maniyani, 96, from Hosdurg.
