Thiruvananthapuram : Actress Kavya Madhavan had to return home without exercising her franchise as she attempted to vote without standing in the queue, before the booth, to which other voters objected.She was not allowed to cast her vote by other voters when she hesitated to stand in line along with others at a polling booth at Vennala in Kochi, according to sources here.
A section of the voters turned against Kavya, demanding that she should exercise her franchise in a ''democratic way'' standing in queue.
She returned home saying that she would come back in the afternoon.
