Kozhikode: Two students who went to bathe in the Punoor river in East Vellimadukunnu drowned on Wednesday. Fire force personnel rescued another boy who was also with them.The deceased was Anirudh, 11, son of Sathosh Kumar from Merikunnu and Akshay, 12 son of Radhakrishnan from Merikunnu.
Akshay's brother Advaidh was rescued by the fire force. The three of them went to have their bath on Wednesday afternoon and were downed. Anirudh is a student at Savio HSS and Akshay in Model Govt HSS.
Sushama is Anirudh's mother. Sreeja is Akshay's mother and brother is Abhishek.
