Police solved the mystery behind kidnapping of a boy from Panna on Friday. The kidnappers have been arrested after the rescue of the boy. The aunt of the boy Rekha Gupta had planned the kidnapping. On the instructions of Rekha, her sister’s husband Kailash Gupta had executed the kidnapping of the boy with his friends. Police said, after death of her husband, she was considering that her three children would not be cared like other at home. So, she asked for the sharing of the property, but she had to satisfy with only four and half-acre land.Thereafter, Rekha Gupta hatched a conspiracy to kidnap Anuj.
On April 19, Kailash reached Panna with his friend Rampal and then Rekha handed over the boy to him. Father of the boy Rakesh Gupta lodged a complaint with the police. SP Anil Maheshwari formed four teams instantly. These teams raided several places in Chhatarpur of MP and Jhansi, Hamirpur and Banda districts of Uttar Pradesh. Over two dozen persons were grilled during the investigation.
