BANGALORE: A total 174 judicial officers, inluding C B Hipparagi, the special judge of designated Lokayukta court (23rd city civil and sessions court) hearing the complaints filed against the chief minister and his sons and son-in law and also home minister R Ashoka in the land scam have been transferred.
Hipparagi has been transferred on his request. He has been transferred to the post of presiding officer, Industrial Tribunal, Hubli-Dharwad.
Nangali Krishnarao Sudhindhra Rao, who was working as principal district and sessions judge, Bellary, is posted to Hipparagi's place.
High court Registrar General R B Budihal has been tansferred to the post of principal city and sessions court judge, Bangalore.
The transfers will take effect from May 23, when the courts resume normal sitting after summer vacation.
