In the first case, a 30-year-old from Pipaliya Mandi was first lured for some financial assistance by an employee of a society and was later provided liquor and in an inebriated condition he was operated upon in the hospital.
When he regained his senses and came to know about the sterilisation, he was shocked and his condition deteriorated. The youth is the lone bread earner of the family comprising only his blind mother. The sister of the youth Lila Bai has lodged a complaint with the Pipaliya Mandi police station but no action has been taken till date.
Two similar cases have been reported from the village Mathargarh and Kachria Chandrawat of the district where the health employees sterilised two tribals by luring cash rewards against the sterilisation.
The Health Department has provided with the target of sterilisation and cash rewards have been finalised to encourage married men for the purpose.
The employees of the department inspire males for the operation and `1800 are paid to the males who gets operated and `200 are given to the person who brings the case for operation. But the employees just in greed of few rupees lure the bachelor youths and gets them sterilised that is serious issue but the administration is not taking it seriously.
Terming the cases are minor problems in the sterilisation operations, CMHO MK Patni said that he would look into the matter and the operations would be reverted, if found the bachelors have been sterilised.
