Seethisahib Award presented to MP Veerendrakumar

Kozhikode: The Seethisahib award instituted in memory of Seethisahib, IUML leader and assembly speaker, was presented to Mathrubhumi managing director and former union minister MP Veerendrakumar at a function held in Mathrubhumi MM Press hall on Tuesday. Writer UA Khader presented the award. UK Kumaran read the certificate and PK Parakkadavu draped a ponnada. Dr Sivaraman Thandassery introduced the award winner.

MS Muralidhran, national president of Seethisahib Memorial committee, inaugurated the function. Chandrika editor Navas Punoor, KP Sudheera, Dr Khadeeja Mumthaz, Kerala Mappila Kala Akademi president P H Abdullah, KSTU state president CPM Cheriya Muhammad, MSS state general secretary TK Abdul Kareem, Salafi Times editor KA Jabbar also spoke.
