Two more endosulfan victims die

Kasargod: A two-and-a half- year- old girl who was ill due to suspected spraying of endosulfan died here on Wednesday. She has been identified as Prajitha from Beloor. It is alleged that she was denied treatment at the Government hospital and hence underwent treatment at a private hospital. Meanwhile, Health Minister P K Sreemathy directed Kasargod District Medical Officer to submit a report in connection with the incident. Another man Sreedharan, 45, from Cheemeni, also an endosulfan victim died . He was under treatment for the last 6 years for cancer He earned a living by selling lotteries. His cousin Sreedharan, 58, also died due to cancer three months back and his father too succumbed to cancer. His mother is Lakshmi and wife Karthiyayani. Children Neethu and Nimisha.
