Malayalee engineering student collapses to death in hostel in Puducherry
Chennai: A Malayalee engineering student collapsed to death at his college hostel on Wednesday. Muhammad Hasin, 22, is the son of Abdul Rahman Ponnanani from Cherukallayi (near New Mahe) and Najma. He was a final year electrical and electronics engineering student at the Puducherry Government Engineering college.Alsain and Renin are his brothers. His friends found him in the bathroom and though they rushed him to the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences, his life could not be saved. It is said that his head was injured when he had a fall in the bathroom. Hasin's final exam was due on Wednesday. His relatives said he was selected by a private engineering company in Maharashtra through campus interview and was set to join on June 1.
