Autopsy of Israeli woman carried out

An autopsy was conducted on Tamara Farah Abraham, the Israeli women allegedly murdered by Lokesh Chnadra Das, a young Yoga teacher in Bangalore. According to Thalaghattapura police, the post-mortem was conducted by doctors at Rajarajeshwari Medical College on Mysore Road after the Israeli embassy officials wrote to the Thalaghattapura police asking them to go ahead with the process in the absence of her immediate family members. Police have not yet received the autopsy report.

The police said it had sent Farah’s fingerprint and DNA samples to the forensic science laboratory for tests, and once the report arrives, the samples would be sent to the embassy for formal confirmation.

A police officer said, “Officials will match the fingerprints with the ones they have at the embassy. After that’s done, they will officially recognise her identity.”

Apparently caught in a love triangle, Tamara was murdered on April 15. According to the police, Lokesh, who dumped her body in a refrigerator, has confessed in writing to the crime. He is behind bars for the moment.
