Women beaten up for questioning eve teaser
Balussery: A youth beat up a woman at the Balussery bus stand for questioning him when he tried to tease some women travellers in a bus. The woman was beaten up while many stood as mere onlookers. Pushpa, 45, from Kuttichthankandi was beatan by Lipeesh, 24, from Eramangalam. Pushpa has been admitted to the Balussery hospital. Natives caught Lipeesh and handed him over to the police. The incident occurred on Sunday 5 pm. Pushpa questioned Lipeesh when he was trying to tease some women travellers in a bus plying between Narikkuni-Veerayambram-Balussery route. When the bus reached the bus stand, Lipeesh slapped Pushpa.
