Statement of Indu's parents recorded

Thiruvananthapuram: The crime branch probing the death of O K Indu, the research scholar in NIT Kozhikode, recorded statements of Indu's parents on Monday. They said that Indu would not commit suicide under any circumstances. They suspected Indu's death to be murder and some are trying to cover it as suicide, said her father Krishna Nair. Her marriage was fixed in May with her full consent. The engagement ceremony was also held as per her wish. So why would she commit suicide, they asked.

Indu left home happily on that day. She had never expressed liking Subhash to them. If she had revealed that, then they would not have stood against her wish. The team, led by Crime branch DySP P N Unniraja, collected evidence. The Crime branch has also issued notice to interrogate Indu's finance Abishek.
