The CPI has expelled national council member M Rahmatullah from the party. The decision was taken at the CPI State Secretariat meeting held on Monday. CPI state secretary C K Chandrappan said that Rahmatullah was given all powers and authority but he had betrayed the party.Earlier, Adv. M Rahmathullah, CPI's national council member, has decided to quit CPI and join the Muslim League.
