Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday supported yoga guru Baba Ramdev’s plan to launch a satyagraha against corruption next month.
“I support all campaigns by Ramdev,” Chouhan said in his speech at a yoga camp here.
The Chief Minister and his wife Sadhana participated in the camp, organised by the yoga guru.
Observing that corruption had its roots in the election system, Chouhan demanded that polls should be funded by the State.
Ramdev said that he wanted the support of every Indian in his satyagraha. The yoga guru plans to launch the satyagraha on June 4 in Delhi.
