Malappuram : The Congress-led ruling United Democratic Front (UDF) in Kerala would take a decision on a fifth Ministerial berth to its second largest constituent, Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), at its scheduled meeting on June 22, IUML General Secretary and Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty today said.Talking to reporters here, he said 'a decision acceptable to all would emerge amcabliy' in the meeting.
The 20-member IUML had named Legislator Manzhalamkuzhi Ali for the fifth Ministerial post without concurrence from the constituents recently.
On his offer to step down from the post of the General Secretary in conformity with party decision to implement one-man-one post norm, the leader said he would do so soon.
A temporary arrangement would be worked out to hand over the charge to another leader, he added.
