Dr P K Warrier's Navathi celebrated

Kottakal: The Navathi celebrations of Dr PK Warrier, chief physician and managing trustee of Kottakal Arya Vaidya Sala, was held on Sunday at PM Auditorium in Chankuvetty.The Navathi celebrations began at 4 pm and was inaugurated by Union minister of State Mullappaly Ramachandran. Electricity minister Aryadan Muhammad presided over.

Mathrubhumi Managing director M P Veerendrakumar praised Dr PK Warrier's efforts in making Kottakal stand high in treatment and research. Opposition leader V S Achuthanandan released a memoir after giving a copy to Kottakal Municipal chairperson Bushara Shabeer. VS said that Arya Vaidya Sala has played a great part in getting a global recognition.

A friendly meet, cultural conference and music night were also held.

Zamorin's king P K S Raja inaugurated the friendly meet and MT Vasudevan Nair inaugurated the cultural meet. Later Mathrubhumi managing Director M P Veerendrakumar, wife Usha Veerendrakumar and Mathrubhumi Managing editor P V Chandran presented gift to Dr Warrier at his house Kailasa Mandiram.
