New Delhi: Hours after an Air India aircraft got its nose-wheels bogged down at the IGI Airport here, another plane of the same airline coming in from Dubai landed under full emergency conditions with 65 passengers on board with a hydraulic problem.
The Dubai-Delhi flight, AI-736, landed amid emergency conditions with the pilot of the Boeing-767 informing the air traffic control about a hydraulic problem in the aircraft, airport sources said.
The Dubai flight landed safely at 3.15 p.m., the sources said, adding the aircraft was taken to a remote bay for repairs after the passengers de-planed.
Earlier in the day, Air India's Shanghai-Bangkok-Delhi flight (AI-349), with 191 people on board, landed under similar conditions after it developed problems in its under-carriage.
Its nose-wheel capsized and got bogged down when it was being towed by a tractor for repairs to an isolated bay.
