Seat trading in Pariyaram, college gained 29 crore from the last 4 years

Kannur: Out of the 33 students getting admissions for PG medical course at the Pariyaram Medical College in the last four years, only one was selected from the government merit list during 2010. Calculating Rs 20 lakh as annual fess for a student in management quota, the college has gained Rs 29 crore during the last four years from PG, degree and diploma courses. There are PG degree and diploma courses in medicine, pediatrics, and skin departments. There were only 10 seats for each till last year. This year 11 more seats were added .
