New Delhi: DMK president and former Tamil Nadu chief minister M. Karunanidhi Tuesday landed here to meet his daughter Kanimozhi lodged in the Tihar Jail in the 2G spectrum allocation case, a day after the Supreme Court denied her bail.'He (Karunanidhi) has landed in Delhi a few minutes back and would be staying at Hotel Leela,' a source close to the leader told IANS.
'He would be meeting his daughter around 4 p.m. today (Tuesday),' he added.
Kanimozhi and Sharad Kumar, managing director of Kalaignar TV Pvt Ltd, were named by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) as co-conspirators in the supplementary charge sheet for allegedly taking a bribe of Rs.214 crore.
They were arrested May 20 after the trial court dismissed their bail pleas.
