Thodupuzha: The Sports Minister, K.B. Ganesh Kumar, has asked the chief minister Oommen Chnday in a letter to have a vigilance probe into the affairs of the Kerala Cricket Association, based on complaints received by him .KCA has been facing allegation regarding ticket sales in international matches held in Kaloor stadium. Its day today activities and purchase of land for Edakochi stadium were also subjtected to criticism. Ganesh Kumar said the affairs of the KCA should be looked into seriously as he and the Department of Sports has been inundated with complaints from various quarters. The complaints raise serious allegations of corruption and mismanagement at the administrative level and there was the need to set things right, the Minister said. Sources said that all the complaints received by the Minister and the Department have been forwarded to the Chief Minister along with Ganesh Kumar's letter. The KCA, it may be recalled, is already under the scanner of the VACB, on orders of the Vigilance Special Court, Thrissur, on the alleged corruption in the purchase of land for its International stadium project in Edakochi .
