No decision yet on Calicut VC
Thiruvananthapuram: The decision to appoint a vice chancellor to the Calicut University would be extended further and education minister Abdu Rab said that the time period of the committee, appointed to select the VC, has been extended for one more month. In the press meet, the minister said the committee led by chief secretary would take a decision and these kind of important decisions would take time. A committee was formed to decide on the appointment as earlier the IUML candidate did not meet the eligibility criteria and it became a row.
