Thiruvananthapuram : The State government will hold another round of talks with Kerala Government Medical Officers Association (KGMOA) on July 28 following its decision to go on indefinite strike from July 30 relating to doctors pay revision issue. Talking to newspersons after the fourth round of talks with KGMOA here, Kerala Health Minister Adoor Prakash said the doctors cannot achieve anything by threatening the government.
Today's talks between the government and the KGMOA remained inconclusive on issues related to various demands mainly to merge special allowance with basic salary and increase of allowances to specialist doctors.
The functioning of government hospitals was affected due to the non-cooperation strike launched by doctors.
