Thiruvananthapuram: A mentally deranged person was held by the police for trying to impersonate chief minister Oomen Chandy by sitting in the CM's chair. He also attempted to phone some ministers. Chella Chandran Jose belonging to Nedumangad Malayinkeezhil was arrested by the police. The mentally challenged person had reached the secretariat to give a petition to the CM. He sat in the CM's chair and when Chandy, on entering his office, asked who he was, the reply was 'I am the prime minister of the country.' Police reached the spot and arrested him.
