Ottappalam: A woman working as development officer in LIC was found in a pathetic condition in an uninhabited house. She was subjected to assault and blood was oozing out of her head. The woman is from Cherthala and is residing in a rented house in Manjakkad, Shoranur. Police booked a case against Vinoy, 40, from Kulapully . The woman was found in the first floor of the uninhabited house owned by Soni Anthikat. As per the information provided by natives, police came and shifted the woman to Thrissur Medical College. Soni's brother filed a complaint against Vinoy as per the statements given by the woman's father.
As per the complaint, Vinoy attacked the woman with a stone after bringing her to this place. Vinoy, who is an LIC agent, used to tease his daughter and was angry over fixing her marriage in January. Sony and family are abroad. Natives said on Monday Vinoy came with the woman to the house and by evening the car retured.
Vinoy is married.
