Endosulfan: Central team to reach by August 29
Kasargod: The central team would reach Kasargod on August 29 to deactivate the 1500 liter endosulfan being kept in estate go downs of plantation corporation and in Mannarkad. Defense Research and Development Establishment (DRDE) under central defense ministry team would come. Though at first DRDE said that the team would reach by July 22, but later that was postponed to August 29.The team would be lead by Dr GP Meshram and Dr A K Guptha and they would be in Kerala till September 2.The plantation corporation also received a list of 24 items to be prepared when the team comes. The drive would be accompanied by officials from state agriculture department and pollution control board.
