Latest News from India - CIAL expecting to handle 5 million passengers: Director

Nedumbassery : Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) Director A C K Nair has said the CIAL was expecting to handle five million passengers from the airport in the current financial year.''A total of 4.4 million passengers had used the airport to fly to various national and international destinations and we are expecting that five million passengers would fly from the airport during the current year,'' he told UNI.

Stating that the airport run by the CIAL was running profitably compared to other airports in the country, he said, CIAL was expecting a hike of 12 to 15 per cent in terms of revenue.
