Jeddah: In the top 10 list of the Gulf region's wealthiest Indians as compiled by Arabian Business magazine, in the second place is MA Yousuf Ali, whose wealth is estimated at $ 1.75 billion. He is the managing director of EMKE Group, a company headquartered in Abu Dhabi.EMKE is best known for its chain of shopping malls and Lulu hypermarkets. In 2010, Ali was appointed as an independent director of Air India. Micky Jagtiani, 60, head of retailing giant Landmark Group, which has its headquarters in Dubai, tops the list with a fortune of $3.2 billion.. Jagtiani is India's 18th-richest person
B.R. Shetty, the managing director and CEO of the Abu Dhabi-based New Medical Center (NMC) Group of companies, is number three with on the list, with an aggregate wealth of $1.72 billion.
The other Malayalees in the list are , P.N.C. Menon, head of Sobha Developers, GEMS Education founder Sunny Varkey, Dr. Galfar Mohammed Ali, the founder of Galfar Engineering and Contracting, CK Menon, Joy Alukkas and Dr Asad Moppan.
