Jeddah: In the top 10 list of the Gulf region's wealthiest Indians as compiled by Arabian Business magazine, in the second place is MA Yousuf Ali, whose wealth is estimated at $ 1.75 billion. He is the managing director of EMKE Group, a company headquartered in Abu Dhabi.EMKE is best known for its chain of shopping malls and Lulu hypermarkets. In 2010, Ali was appointed as an independent director of Air India. The other Malayalees in the list are , P.N.C. Menon, head of Sobha Developers, GEMS Education founder Sunny Varkey, Dr. Galfar Mohammed Ali, the founder of Galfar Engineering and Contracting, CK Menon, Joy Alukkas and Dr Asad Moppan.
