Making the most of social media to “communicate” with his supporters on matters relating to his ongoing anti-corruption crusade, Anna Hazare turned a blogger on Thursday.
He hit out at “some Government agents” for unleashing false propaganda that he had given up his fast at Ramlila Maidan last month because of the “handiwork” of their “favourite Ministers”.
Hazare assured, “It was only when my inner voice permitted me I broke my fast after getting assurance from the Government.”
“… the need of the hour is to continue with the non-violent revolution. It will be through this blog that in future, I will convey what has to be done henceforth the steps that we need to take and the direction this revolution will head towards,” he wrote on aanahazaresays.wordpress.com.
In his blog written in Marathi and English from Ralegan-Siddhi, Hazare added, “As I sat for the fast on Ramlila Maidan the Government started spreading rumours about me. It was done maliciously so as to create misunderstanding in the minds of the people. It was only due to people of India that they could not succeed. Some are still trying to impede my efforts.”
Hazare added, “To enable a one-to-one conversation with you, I will soon embark on my journey throughout India.”
