    Thiruvananthapuram: Former ambassador TP Sreenivasan has been elected as the vice chairman of higher education council. Mambad MES college teacher Dr P Anwar was appointed as secretary.Prof Lopas Mathew, St George College, Aruvithara, CI Abdul Rahman, former president of self financing engineering management, Dr R Jayaprakash, former principal of Kollam SN college, Dr Sheena Shukoor, National Judicial academy, Bhopal, Dr Veeramanikandan, Women's college, Thiruvananthapuram are the executive council members.

    Dr Ramachandan Thekkaedath, Cusat VC has been appointed as representative of vice chancellors.
